Books and Grad schol

Today I received an email telling me that I did not get the job with the company I had hoped. They did not receive their extra grant money, so again I start from square one. I have been applying to jobs daily, and so far the only one I've heard back from cannot hire me. I should have just applied for graduate school right away, so I wouldn't have to be in this mess of trying to find a job in a time when I have so many things due, like my student loans (which need to be paid off starting in August).

I'm trying to think of things that I need to get done, you know, to occupy myself. Right now, I can't really think of anything, so I'm reading books and playing World of Warcraft. It's something to pass the time and take my mind off the frustration of finding work. Speaking of books, I'm thinking I may start writing one. It already has a title, but I won't say it yet. I'm not sure if it will actually happen, but I had a dream about a year ago, and it was so vivid that it SHOULD be a book. Maybe just a short story, depending on how long I can make it, but we'll see. For now, I'll just write down the ideas I get from it and hope it goes somewhere.

Graduate school is definitely an option for fall of 2010. I'm looking at the Boston University program in Geographpy. It's something I truly love reading and learning about, and I could talk about it for hours. I plan on taking the GREs soon, in hopes to apply for grad school this upcoming fall. It would be so nice to have that squared away, knowing that I have something set in stone.

I think that's it for now. I'll keep you posted about the book, and maybe if it has so merit, I'll post some of it here to get feed back. Cheers!
